We're spotlighting this question because 2010 is right around the corner and "ALL" of us as vessels of GOD should honesty contemplate where we stand when it comes to our own personal walk with JESUS CHRIST?
Intermittently, we've had the pleasure to question and counsel both Born Again Christians and nonbelievers on how deep and serious their desire to serve the LORD is. Beyond a shade of a doubt, their replies were questions were SHOCKING and here are a few of them.
1. What do we receive in exchange for following JESUS? Our comeback was this:
JOHN 3:16
GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.
2. Why is it that Christians have to undergo so much hardship while laboring in the LORD? We processed to explain that GOD had to endure so much inflicted grieve by his: disciples, humanity, and especially the Roman soldiers; so that you and us would delight in having access to Eternal LIFE.
1 PETER 5:10
AND AFTER YOU HAVE SUFFERED A LITTLE WHILE, THE GOD OF ALL GRACE, WHO HAS CALLED YOU TO HIS ETERNAL GLORY IN CHRIST, WILL HIMSELF, RESTORE, CONFIRM, STRENGTHEN, AND ESTABLISH YOU.
3. The cross-examination concluded with this enigma of an inquiry that was brewing in their minds for a while. What can an individual do to make their faith stronger? In our opinion this should have been the first question; nonetheless it wasn't so we rolled with the bunches and replied with this:
ROMANS 10:17
SO FAITH COMES FROM HEARING, AND HEARING THROUGH THE WORD OF CHRIST.
Prior to the clock hitting 12:00 am on December 31, 2009, truly ponder this:
What is the Foundation of your FAITH and when you savory "ALL" of this around in your heads, proceed to make 2010 the launching pad to an AWESOME NEW YEAR!
