IF Only?

IF Only?

Everyone could put themselves in the other person's shoes, before starting to ChitChat about certain topics not caring whether or not their pushing that individual into a corner of pain and sorrow. Then their would be less opportunity for: misunderstandings, arguments, physical altercations, and especially the ending of a friendship.

MATTHEW 7:3

AND WHY DO YOU LOOK AT THE SPECK IN YOUR BROTHER'S EYE, BUT DO NOT CONSIDER THE PLANK IN YOUR OWN EYE?

IF Only?

Couples would STOP playing the "BLAME GAME" in such a way that one or both parties CHEAT, and in some cases result in DIVORCE.

MATTHEW 7:1

JUDGE NOT, THAT YOU BE NOT JUDGED.

MATTHEW 7:2

FOR WITH WHAT JUDGEMENT YOU JUDGE, YOU WILL BE JUDGED; AND WITH THE MEASURE YOU USE, IT WILL BE MEASURED BACK TO YOU.

GENESIS 2:24

THEREFORE A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THEY SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH.

HEBREWS 13:4

MARRIAGE IS HONORABLE AMONG ALL, AND THE BED UNDEFILED; BUT FORNICATORS AND ADULTERERS GOD WILL JUDGE.

IF Only?

Parents would take the time out of their busy schedules to: talk, bond, and to have some more 1 on 1 time with their adolescents; instead of "TALKING AT" them. Perhaps this way today's youths wouldn't commit: Suicide, Violent acts, Suffer DEPRESSION, and become Abusers of: SEX, DRUGS, or just live a DESTRUCTIVE LIFE STYLE.

EPHESIANS 6:4

FATHERS, DO NOT PROKE YOUR CHILDREN TO ANGER, BUT BRING THEM UP IN THE DISCIPLINE AND INSTRUCTION OF THE LORD.

DEUTERONOMY 6:7

YOU SHALL TEACH THEM DILIGENTLY TO YOUR CHILDREN, AND SHALL TALK OF THEM WHEN YOU SIT IN YOUR HOUSE, AND WHEN YOU WALK BY THE WAY, AND WHEN YOU LIE DOWN, AND WHEN YOU RISE.

IF Only?

The Sons and Daughters of the world would find it in their HEARTS to STOP telling their parents or guardian: your not the BOSS of me, I don't have to listen to you, it's my life not yours, and the number one "WISH I WAS NEVER BORN INTO THIS FAMILY".

EXODUS 20:12

HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER, THAT YOUR DAYS MAY BE LONG UPON THE LAND WHICH THE LORD YOUR GOD IS GIVING YOU.

PROVERBS 10:1

A WISE SON MAKES A GLAD FATHER, BUT A FOOLISH SON IS THE GRIEF OF HIS MOTHER.

PROVERBS 15:20

A WISE SON MAKES A FATHER GLAD, BUT A FOOLISH MAN DESPISES HIS MOTHER.

MATTHEW 19:19

HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER, AND YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.

IF Only, we did this:

MATTHEW 18:21

THEN PETER CAME TO HIM AND SAID, LORD, HOW OFTEN SHALL MY BROTHER SIN AGAINST ME, AND I FORGIVE HIM? UP TO SEVEN TIMES.

Then and only then, will it be easier to: HANDLE, COMPREHEND, and RESOLVE the IF Only's of the WORLD.

BLESSINGS

I love this article. It reminds me that we are all responsible for reconciliation with each other. One Dr. Philism is that it takes two pieces of wood to burn. If there is an argument, there all parties involved are responsible not just 'the other person."

PS Thanks for the Thanksgiving note. We had a great Thanksgiving as I'm sure yours was
