COMMUNITY WHERE ART THOU?

Where, Oh Where has the
Community gone? You know the group individuals from "ALL" over the world that: live, eat, work, and even attend Church or school in the same area? You see you know what we mean...

Do you recall when someone on the block was getting married even if you didn't know the Blissful Couple the whole neighborhood was standing outside of the Church in order to Congratulate the bride and groom and throw some Rice too.

Why isn't there any manifestations of Brotherly Love anyone more? Come on, you know what we're talking about. Remember when your neighbor used to: say good morning, borrow a cup of sugar, or invite your parents over to their house for a cup of coffee or tea with a slice of pie on the side? Now the light bulb turned on in your subconscious.

THOSE WERE THE "GOOD OLD DAYS"

Perhaps we should partake of this Bible verse:

MATTHEW 19:19

HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER, AND, YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.

WOW, this verse is truly DEEP and GENERATES a sense of longing for gathering the: family, church members, friends, neighbors from: here, there, and anywhere over for some:

1. Kool-Aid, ice tea, and soda pop
2. hot dogs, burgers, chicken, and potato salad
3. ham and cheese sandwiches
4. ALL kinds of chips
5. Don't forget the desert, a piece of apple pie.
6. Topped off with a down home Preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. AMEN?
