We'd like to discuss a topic that's been baffling my Gem(husband)and I for the past few months; it's the way today's society of youths have turned their backs on Education and substituted Recreation in it's place.Now we're not against young people having fun, although we don't applaud the manner and degree of danger that it entangles.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT WHAT WE'RE PRESENTING?
As concerned double P's: Parents and Pastors it's ALARMING the way a countless amount of adolescence's have: dropped out of school, are UNwed parents, and to top it off have been arrested more than 2 times in a short period of time. The crime, drug addiction, and alcohol rate involving teenagers has gone up 50% in the past year.
Why don't you: ponder, mediate, and answer these questions?
- DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR CHILDREN ARE WHEN THEIR NOT IN SCHOOL OR AT HOME?
- DO YOU KNOW WHO YOUR CHILDREN'S FRIENDS ARE AND WHERE THEY LIVE?
- HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN SINCE YOU AND YOUR SON OR DAUGHTER TALKED WITH EACH OTHER INSTEAD OF AT EACH OTHER? NOT A YELL-A-THON BUT A TALK-A-THON.
Haven't any of the: parents, guardians, or even youths read or heard of:

REMEMBER NOW YOUR CREATOR IN THE DAYS OF YOUR YOUTH, BEFORE THE DIFFICULT DAYS COME, AND THE YEARS DRAW NEAR WHEN YOU SAY, I HAVE NO PLEASURE IN THEM.
O.K. we comprehend that most teenagers go throw their awkward years where everything is either: confusing, painful, or misleading; but what bewilders us up to a point of "ALL NIGHT PRAYER" is where are the: adult figures, school counselors, and organizations that are supposed to be receiving government funding for the care and well being of troubled teens?
Church leaders and members have to STEP UP to the PLATE more because we're losing our YOUNG PEOPLE right before our very EYES. That's why we: PREACH, TEACH, and BELIEVE KNEE DEEP IN RESCUING TEENS FOR CHRIST.
We say this because we're on top of our: 4 Diamonds, their friends, and the youth in our congregation. No we're not SUPER PARENTS nevertheless, we don't believe in PROCRASTINATING when comes our to 4 Diamond's: Spiritual, Mental, Financial, and/or Educational care. We don't Play Around or DILLYDALLY with that.
CLOSING ARGUMENT
PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, OR ANY AND EVERY INDIVIDUAL THAT HAS TEENYBOPPERS UNDER THEIR CARE SHOULD BE ON ALERT, BECAUSE TOMORROW MAYBE TO LATE... THEIR HORMONES ARE IN A RAGING STATE OF PUBERTY ALTHOUGH NOT EVERYTHING THAT THE: MIND, HEART, AND BODY WANTS IS ESSENTIAL OR BENEFICIAL FOR THEIR WALK THROUGH LIFE...

I am going to be following this blog and checking in on a regular basis. I am overwhelmed by the amount of information here and I am joyed at the dedication you and your wife have displayed on your blog. With the world changing from day-to-day and the economy in which we live and survive becomes more of a struggle, it is no wonder why our younger generation have begun to stray. Parents today must fulfill their duties as parents and pay more attention to what is going on in their child's life. There are many things this day and age that can deter a child and who else but the parents can we blame? Surely we as a society can't continue to stand on the sidelines and watch as the very things we have worked all of our lives to protect is taken from us. Our children are our future. Without an Education, many of our children will end up jobless, hopeless and thinking the world owes them. Recreation in my opinion is something to be earned, not given away as if you were rewarding a Pet. In my household, my son knows that his education is the deciding factor in his future. Not Mom & Dad and certainly not the world. By simply being your child's parent before you are their friends will prepare your children for the real world. Remember this: Life is a Journey that must be traveled regardless of road conditions!
